Horse Racing Systems & What To Look For

Picking A SystemAs long as there is horse racing there will be wagering on horse races. And as long as there is wagering, there will be horse racing systems. Somebody has always figured out a way to pick a winner. It has been that way forever.
Horse racing systems are as numerous as the thoroughbreds themselves. Well, almost anyway. They range from betting on the numbers to wagering on the jockeys to betting on the trainers. Any way you look at it the winner will always fit the criteria of some betting system.

So which one is the best? Which system consistently picks the most winners? Those are good questions but they are questions that really can’t be answered by any one handicapper. If there was one system that stood head and shoulders above the rest we could all quit our day jobs and start betting the ponies!

Some systems work some of the times. Other systems work other times. But no horse racing system works all the time. So what do you do? You try to find one that produces a fair amount of winners at a decent payoff. Sound difficult? Well it is. You will see all kinds of systems promising you the world and delivering you a small patch of quicksand.
You have to try each system out and see which one works the best for you at your favorite track. Yes, different systems work better at different tracks. A speed biased system will work best on a speed favoring track rather than a track that is slower and favors come from behind horses.

The Horse Racing System Test Drive

When it comes down to purchasing a horse racing betting system, read the sales letter very carefully. Take into consideration the price, of course. If it is asking for forty dollars or more make sure that they offer a money back guarantee. If it is offered for ten dollars or less don’t even worry about the guarantee. It will probably produce you a winner that will pay you that much anyway. Look for statements that reflect honest and realistic promises. If a system product says that it will make you rich over night or tells you you’ll be quitting your day job- it’s a lie. More often than not, the better systems will tell you upfront it’s realistic potential and if the product is suited for your type of play style.

Take a look at some these systems and see if they fit your play style:

Make the Most Out of Your Systems

The search for a system can be a very arduous task. But it can be a very exciting one as well. Once you’ve selected a system to try out, be sure to do just that! Don’t sit on it and let it gather “digital dust” on your hard drive. Put it to the test by reading over it, understanding it fully and wagering with it as your guide. Use moderate wagers when starting out and give it an ample “test drive”. If you were test driving a car you wouldn’t back it out of the driveway and consider it a lemon or the best car you’ve ever driven right? No. You would take the time to drive it around and see how it handles in many different situations. The same can be said about horse racing systems. Test it over a reasonable period of time to ensure that it is right for you and that it works.
